About Me
My name is Stella Ehmayer, I am a professional musician and saxophone teacher. I'm originally from Linz, but I've been living and working in Vienna since the beginning of 2025. I trained as a saxophone teacher at the Bruckner University in Linz. During this time, I have already been able to gain a wide range of pedagogical experience. For example, I taught music at an elementary school in Leonding, led improvisation workshops at the Bruckner University as part of the Jazz Girls Day and conducted workshops on acoustics and recording technology as part of the Children's University Linz.
And now?
I moved to Vienna! As a freelance artist, I am active in various projects, whether as a saxophonist and flutist in musicals, lead alto in big bands, or as a band member of my own projects in the world music, pop and jazz sector such as Dono Collective, Graflmayr Ofn or the coffee house disco.

Bruckneruni Bigband, PSF Bigband, Oberösterreichisches Jugendjazzorchester, NAI Oriental Orchester
● Since 2022 on the road with the project Graflmayr Ofn, numerous performances in Hamburg, Kiel, at the Pflasterspektakel Linz, the Graz Street Art Festival and live performances on Freies Radio Freistadt, among others. – Concerts in Vienna, Paris and Linz with renowned artists such as Jeff Boudreaux, Lynn Adib, George Nehme, Mais Harb
● 2023: CD production "Spicey" with the Upper Austrian Youth Jazz Orchestra & CD production "what we grow" with the indie-pop band oh alien
● 2025: Launch of the project "Dono Collective" with premiere at the Stadtwerkstatt Linz Winner of the Art Prize of the City of Linz 2025, Music & Performing Arts
